Mangal Electrical Industries Ltd. made a tepid entry on Indian exchanges, listing below its IPO price of ₹561. The stock opened at ₹558 on the BSE and ₹556 on the NSE, reflecting declines of 0.53% and 0.89% respectively.
Early trading saw volatility, with shares oscillating between ₹547 and ₹566 before settling NEAR ₹550. The company's market capitalization stands at ₹1,521 crore following the ₹400 crore fresh issue, which was oversubscribed 9.46 times.
Proceeds will address debt obligations, fund Rajasthan facility expansion, and bolster working capital. The manufacturer specializes in transformer components including laminated cores, coil assemblies, and oil-immersed circuit breakers.
